PEER Support Training (Slingababy)

Oxford Sling Library are hosting a ONE DAY baby carrying course on Sunday 28th October 2018!

What the Peer Support Course offers:

– Brief history of carrying
– Role and limitations of a peer supporter
– Benefits of carrying
– Busting some myths
– Safety and carrying
– Perceived advantages and drawbacks of the different types of slings

We will look at various sling types and learn a basic step-by-step for them all. We will explore common mistakes and how to troubleshoot in a time-restrained setting.

Welcome! We are delighted that you are interested in this Trageschule Babywearing Advocacy/Peer Support training. Designed for individuals that want to formalise their passion for enabling safe, confident sling use. This training will provide the perfect toolkit for starting and/or continuing to help run your local sling library.

Now you can formalise your passion for enabling safe, confident, sling use with an online training course (4x morning sessions in October) and (1x Saturday group learning day in November) in Oxfordshire.
